Coach Cooper has a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the court, field, and  diamond. With Multiple years of coaching experience including five years as a Head Middle School Boys Basketball Coach and three years as a Varsity Assistant. Coach Cooper also has one year of being a Varsity Football Assistant. 

Coach Cooper brings a strong foundation in player development, teamwork, and competitive  excellence. A proud graduate of Jackson State University with a bachelor’s degree in  mathematics, Coach Cooper has spent the past five years teaching middle school mathematics while building a winning culture in athletics. 

Coach Cooper recently got engaged to his fiancée Aaniyah Adams. 

Coach Cooper is excited for the opportunity to lead the Lady Indians into a new era of success,  fostering a competitive yet supportive environment where players can reach their full potential.  He looks forward to building a program that thrives on hard work, resilience, and team-first  mentality.
