Coach Matthews is proud to be a third generation Northside. He is truly the consummate example of a Proud Indian alum and he bleeds maroon and white. 

After graduating from Northside, Coach Matthews went to West Texas A&M and graduated with a Bachelors in Sports and Exercise Science.

Coach Matthews deeply believes in pursuing the heart of younger generations with intentionality and how  this will help cultivate great future generations. Whether it is in sports or in the classroom, leadership,  integrity, and selflessness are key components to life that Coach Matthews hopes to instill in students.
