Coach S. Schlieve

Sarah Schlieve

Head Cross Country Coach

Sarah Schlieve was a standout volleyball, basketball, softball, and track athlete in high school  (MN). She was the only female athlete (up to that point) in the history of the school to letter in 4  sports in a single school year. She was a captain and starter on teams that qualified for the  playoffs in both volleyball and basketball. She was an all-conference selection in volleyball and track. She also participated in the state track meet as a member of the relay team after her junior year of high school.

After graduating from high school, she went to Central Lakes College located in Brainerd,  Minnesota where she was a member of the women’s basketball team along with being student body president. On the basketball team she was a two year starter at CLC and earned a scholarship to play basketball at Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa (a NAIA Division II Institution). She attended school there until a tragedy in her family brought her back closer to home where she attended St. Cloud State University until graduation.

Since moving to Texas, Sarah has been a Head Cross Country Coach, a Head Girls Basketball  Coach, a Head Track Coach, and a Head Softball Coach.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. Cloud State University with a degree in social work  and a minor in human relations.

Coach Schlieve resides at Northside with her husband Derek Schlieve and their children  Camdyn, Xavier, Lincoln, and Kingsley.
